The FRI welcomes applications from all incoming students and is compatible with several other programs for incoming freshman, including Dean's Scholars Honor's Program, Plan II, TIP, Texas IP, WINS, Emerging Scholars and Biology Scholars.

To apply:

1. Once you are admitted to UT and have registered for a Summer Orientation session offered by UT, you can fill out a Summer FRI Application for a seat in Research Methods (the first FRI course). Applications will be considered and seats offered during each session. Summer Applications will be available beginning in May 2010.
2. You can have your High School Science teacher nominate you for admission to our program. Teachers and Counselors click here for our Nomination Form. The last day to nominate a student for 2009-2010 admissions was May 1, 2009. Teachers can still nominate students for 2010-2011.
   
3. Students interested in attending UT Fall 2010 will be able to apply  through our Early Application process. Please click here for the application. The Early Application deadline is May 9th 2010.
